School Radioklub SP1ZES
The School Radio Communications Centre was established in the M. Rataj School Complex at Gościno, near Kołobrzeg, in 2016. The Centre was designed to offer specialised training in radio communications. Together with their Secondary School Diploma, our School graduates obtain the Radio Operator’s Certificates. Our training courses constitute important components of the professional education curriculum. The courses are run for each student group during one academic year, one or two hours a week. The participants are the students of the Military, Police, Border Guard, and Fire Fighter professions, as well as the students of the Secondary Technical School for Airport Operating Services. The Radio Club (holding the SP1ZES callsign) is part of the School Radio Communications Centre. Our students, especially those staying in the School’s dormitory, as well as local residents, can participate in extra-curricular activities and develop their radio communication skills, in particular in radio sports and emergency communications. Club training sessions are conducted by the members of the Baltic Amateur Radio Association (SP1EG, SP1F, and SQ1NDR), guest operators: SP9JPA, SP7MWE and SP4BBU), as well as visitors from the whole country.
