Amateur radio activities serve as the first step in helping young people understand and expand their knowledge of communication technology. As a result, amateur radio organizations worldwide have designated December each year as "Youth Month" or December YOTA Month (DYM) to support youth in amateur radio activities and communication technologies. This initiative demonstrates a commitment to and emphasizes the importance of encouraging the younger generation to become familiar with and participate in amateur radio, helping them grow in this field.
